Workshop Goals

  • Review key concepts and recent updates in HIV Care
  • Discuss HIV Prevention with a focus on HIV PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis)
  • Become aware of common infections amongst people who inject drugs
  • Receive a basic overview of Hep C treatment
  • Learn addiction management strategies for people living with HIV and/or HCV
  • Discuss & explore strategies to help primary care providers achieve & maintain confidence to provide primary care to people living with HIV and/HCV in Saskatchewan
