Workshop Goals
- Review key concepts and recent updates in HIV Care
- Discuss HIV Prevention with a focus on HIV PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis)
- Become aware of common infections amongst people who inject drugs
- Receive a basic overview of Hep C treatment
- Learn addiction management strategies for people living with HIV and/or HCV
- Discuss & explore strategies to help primary care providers achieve & maintain confidence to provide primary care to people living with HIV and/HCV in Saskatchewan
